However, as thickness increases, the rolling force struggles to penetrate the core of the flat steel. This results in minimal plastic deformation at the center, leaving metallurgical defects—such as gas pockets, inclusions, and porosity—unresolved. Consequently, the mechanical properties of the blades are substantially compromised.
